This house is designed to accommodate large families living together. The owners are a couple who have just retired and would like to have a single story house with small living units connected through a covered pathway for more relaxing time at home. There are three living units to serve each family while the main living and dining space is shared and therefore is the only unit in the house with 1.5 story.

The team proposed cluster of living units with slightly varying height at windward and leeward direction to allow for ventilation for each living unit, enclosing a central courtyard with water features to provide evaporative cooling.  Long projecting overhang with large semi indoor-outdoor area connected to the pool help to enhance comfortable living in a tropical climate.
