‘Windmill House – L’ house is designed for an extended family of parents and their son’s family. The house has been oriented to balance between feng-shui requirements from the owner and sustainable design criteria . To reduce solar heat gain to the house’s facades, split level floors are used to enhance natural ventilation. A large volume of space also provides dynamic movement within the house. Shadings are applied in spaces where orientation may have negative impact on heat gain.GD Services – Architectural and Interior Design
