GD has provided green building consultancy to Bayer Thai. Bayer wishes to assess existing building’s energy consumption pattern and explore applicable retrofitting opportunities to reduce operating costs and result in a more energy efficient and environmentally-friendly building. Potential energy retrofit options are explored with energy simulation tool. By creating an energy model calibrated to actual energy use based on the utility bills, the model is used to assess potential savings from various energy reduction strategies.

Economic analysis – simple payback period and net present worth – are conducted for each parametric option to assist Bayer in selecting the most appropriate strategies.
