Lying among compact single-detached houses on a large rectangular site, which were merged from 2 plots of land, this village house needs partially self-shading layout with landscape’s reinforcement. Yet, the self-shading factors must not block wind access. As the wind from the south, where locating the front of the house, can frequently flow inwards, the main living space should be breezily oriented to perceive most amount of natural air. The exposed front and back of the house operate the influential wind path, with courtyards settling along the both sides. As a result of the plenty of greenery and ventilation, the secondary living space on the west side allows users to enjoy windy and luxuriant conditions.
