GreenDwell provided integrated design-consulting service for SL Estate, a green project developer, for their new Head Office. The building was renovated by connecting two existing buildings, reusing the main structure. The owner has decided to pursue the Thai’s local green building rating system, TREES-NC.

The design emphasized energy efficiency and good indoor environmental quality.  Energy efficiency is achieved through climate responsive design, reflected in the building envelope which responds to different orientation and overshadowing pattern throughout the year. Indoor environmental quality is considered through optimum daylighting and fresh air. Building simulations were conducted to validate these design concepts and to improve the design’s performance.

The project has received TREES-NC Certified level from the Thai Green Building Institute (TGBI) in 2019.
